What is Classroom 6X?

Classroom 6X is a free website for playing browser games. It brings together 113 HTML5 games — from quick arcade challenges to sports, driving and puzzle games — on one fast, simple page. Every game runs inside your web browser, so there is nothing to download or install and no account to create.

Many people search for “unblocked games” when they want light, short games that load directly in a browser tab. That's what you'll find here. Whether a website is available on a particular school or work network is decided by that network's administrator, so please follow your school's rules about when and where to play.

How the game library works

Each game has its own page with a player, instructions and similar games. Games are loaded from their own hosts when you press Play, which keeps our pages light and fast. Browse by category — skill, adventure, car, idle, action, running and more — or use the search bar to jump straight to a game.

Press the heart on any game to add it to your favorites. Games you open appear under Recently played. Both lists are stored only in your browser and are never sent to us.

Playing on a Chromebook, laptop or phone

Most games are made for a keyboard and mouse, which makes them a good fit for Chromebooks, laptops and desktop computers. Some games also work with touch controls on tablets and phones, but many don't — if a game doesn't respond to touch, try it on a computer instead.

Frequently asked questions

Are the games on Classroom 6X free?

Yes. All games on the site are free to play in your browser. You don't need to buy anything, create an account or enter personal details.

Do I need to download anything?

No. The games are HTML5 browser games, so they run directly in a browser tab. You only need an up-to-date browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.

Why is a game not loading?

Games are loaded from their own hosts, so a slow connection, a browser extension or a network filter can stop one from starting. Try pressing Reload on the game page, refreshing the page, or turning off ad blockers for the game. Some 3D games also need WebGL, which can be disabled on older devices. If a game still won't start, try another one — we regularly check the library and mark games that stop working as unavailable.

Will these games work on my school network?

It depends on the network. Schools and workplaces decide which websites are allowed, and we can't change or get around those settings. Please follow your school's rules about gaming.

Which devices are supported?

Chromebooks, Windows and Mac computers work best because most games use keyboard or mouse controls. Some games support touch on phones and tablets, but many are designed for a keyboard.

How do I control the games?

Controls are different for each game and are listed under “How to play” on each game page. Common controls are the Arrow keys or W A S D to move, Space to jump or act, and the mouse to aim or click. Click inside the game first so it can receive your key presses.

Do my favorites and game history follow me to other devices?

No. Favorites and recently played games are saved only in the browser you are using. They aren't linked to an account, so they don't sync between devices and are removed if you clear your browsing data.
